ET3158E
General Description
The ET3158E advanced load management switches target applications requiring a highly integrated solution. It disconnects loads powered from DC Power Rail (<6V) with stringent off-state current targets and high load capacitances (up to 200uF). Each switch consists of slew-rate controlled low-impedance MOSFET Switch and other integrated analog features. The slew-rate controlled turn-on characteristic prevents inrush-current and the resulting excessive voltage droop on power rails.
When EN is low, IN power on, ET3158E will check the voltage of the OUT pin with a 300Ω pull down resistor after 29us. If OUT is lower than 1.0V, the switch will turn on, and if OUT is high than 2.5V, the switch remain off. When EN is high, ET3158E will be turn on without check OUT voltage.
The ET3158E has True Reverse Current Blocking (TRCB) function blocking unwanted reverse current from OUT to IN when EN=low. These devices have exceptionally low TRCB-state current drain in OUT pin (<2uA max). The input voltage range operates from 2.5V to 6.0V DC to fulfill a wide range of applications in consumer, optical, medical, storage, portable, and industrial device power management.
ET3158E is offered DFN4(1.2×1.6) package, which is ideal for small form factor portable equipment .
